It's Friday, which means nothing, because we have school Saturday and Sunday (sigh). It'll be a fun few days, though, because it's the School's Culture Festival (almost like back-to-school-night, but all weekend) which means goofy performances and an odd mix of food and I don't know what all else.
My DVD Burner drive-thing-ma-jig is busted. It won't read anything, CD or DVD (or cat, I suppose) that I put in it. Laptops are pieces of crap. My warranty should be good for another 3 years, though, so I can keep fixing the crap.
Jesse and I still haven't started packing and every time of think of it there's a mini freak out in my head and then I forget about it. Damn.
I'm so, so furiously excited to be going home. Yay! Yay!
It's a really lovely warm sunny day with a tickling breeze and it makes me happy but also jealous of those that are out walking in parks and picnicing. I really don't think people picnic enough. I sure don't (picnic enough).
I think tonight I'll make some scallop pasta and have some broccoli on the side. And then drag Jesse down to the fruity dessert place.
See you all soon!
