I found a roasted tomato salad recipe that I think I'll try out on Jesse tonight. Pair it with some of the wine we were given this week and it'll be a sweet Thursday night. A fitting beginning for a 4 day weekend in which we have no big plans. Yay!
The weather is downright dreadful. We haven't had a rainless day for at least a week. And it's not drippy, misty, come-and-go rain, it's a downright downpour most of the time. Bah. It's damn near impossible to go for walks or make any plans that are not of the "vegging at home" variety. Perhaps (though not likely) we'll have a nice day this weekend to go and do something.
I'm getting so anxious to get out of here and back home. We'll get to spend time ALL OVER the West and East coasts. Dare I say we'll probably be visiting at least 6 states and possibly Canada and Mexico in the scant 6 weeks we'll be home? Yes, I dare.
