It’s been an unremarkable week. Unless relaxing and BBQing are remarkable, in which case I could remark on the delicious salmon Jesse grilled and lovely veggies I grilled.
School is slowing to a crawl (it’s hot and I have little to do) but our social calendar is filling up awfully fast. The last month we’re here it’s going to be freaking busy. And packing. I hate packing so very much. Unpacking, I like.
My hair is long enough to put in a ponytail. It’s absurd, this length. I’ve been to the pigtails length, but not the single ponytail length in more than 5 years. It’s too long to look good down and too short to look good up. It’s too thick to blow dry straight and too unbecoming to leave curly. It’s really impossible.
Today in class the boys were sweating. There were seriously little rivulets down their foreheads and necks. They mop up constantly with little towels or tissues, but there is no AC and they wear these black suit pants all year and I felt bad for them. I didn’t see any girls sweating, though.
Bah – I’m almost boring myself.
Erin bought White Stripes tickets for August – yay! And hopefully Jesse and I can make it to the brewfest in Portland the last weekend of July with Maryk and John. I’m so very looking forward to this trip home.
Ach, my stomach hurts.
