rambling

Ahhhhh. Nice relaxing Saturday. We were going to go to Hirosaki, a beautiful city on the other side of the Aomori but it's raining and we've decided to be lazy instead. Eh, we'll go next weekend or the one after or sometime. It's been a full week and we may as well take it easy.

So then. What does "take it easy" mean? So far, it means me looking at beautiful white sandy beaches on the interweb and dreaming of vacations and Jesse playing the Legend of Zelda and drinking cafe a lait ala amy and eating egg 'n cheese biscuits and a raspberry smoothie. See? Good times.

I think, though, that perhaps I'd like to do something. And I don't mean laundry, either, though it really needs doing. I think I'd like to go shopping. And then go out for a nice dinner. Like to that Indonesian place (speaking of, did you know that Thailand is the only SE Asian country to have never been taken as a territory by another country - go Thailand!) or maybe somewhere else nice.

Ooh! We saw Lemony Snicket (just opened in Japan) and I thought it was just lovely. A bit frightening, but I'm a wimp. I did not think it was an example of an attempt at copying the style of Tim Burton. I was pleased, actually, that someone else is making imaginative movies.
