Last night we went out on a date (yay!) and had lovely Indonesian food and saw Constantine. First, the restaurant. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. It is run by an Indonesian family that opened one restaurant in Java and then opened another one in our itsy-bitsy city. How they ended up in a rural, fishing industry city in Aomori (just about the most rural section of Japan) is beyond me, but I'm not complaining. It was some damn tasty (and spicy!) food.

Then we went to the movie and it was scary. We were afraid it would be bad, but, not so much. Mostly just made me jump out of my skirt a few times and hide behind my hands, cause the demons were awfully ugly.

Then we came home and watched a 'friends' episode in bed to get the demons out of our heads.

Then we fell asleep.

Then we woke up. Had a smoothie. Got dressed. Came to school. I've been yawning all day. It was an entirely un-spectacular day and I'm thrilled that the 'work' part of it is over. I'll be leaving shortly for a long walk across town to meet Jesse for mmm, coffee.
