Guess what I've accomplished today? Yes, you guessed right, NOTHING! But it's been a good day of nothing-ness. New teachers are here today and I've been meeting them and pretending to be busy on the internet.
And now? The day is almost done. All our days should be this short. Coffee and relaxing in the morning. Off at 3pm in the afternoon. It's bliss, I tell you!
I love you, baby, see you soon. Mmmmm...now I get to look forward to coffee and a kiss from my honey.

When I leave work I'm walking across town in the sun to meet Jesse at the super-tasty coffee shop. There's a possibility that spring has come.
My eyeballs have been really dry and irritated lately. It's been about a week and they are alternately weepy and grainy. No, they're not pink, so it's not cunjuctivitis (which I had plenty often when I was 5 and remember the terror of waking up with my eyes glued shut). It's also not springy enough here yet to blame it on allergies and I don't usually have allergy problems in spring, anyway. I thought perhaps my mascara (it's Aveda, so very natural and gentle, I think) was bugging them but I haven't worn it in 4 days. But, dangit, this is uncomfortable.
I'd really like a piece of warm, gooey peach pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream right now. And I'd like to be eating it with Momm, Dad and Grandma on her new porch.
