I cannot even begin to convey what a pain in the ASS my day has been. The damn car broke down. The only time I’ve driven it alone since, like, November. It’s morning, I’m 40 minutes out of town going on a school visit and, as I’m slowing down to a stopsign about 5 blocks from school, it starts going *put*…..

OK that was yesterday in the afternoon waiting for somebody to tell me if my car was going to be fixed that day. As I was writing it, around 3pm, they told me it was ready! So the day got better. But it really was awful and a bit scary.

So now it’s Friday, I’ve had a cool day. We spent the morning having a student skate day thingy. They raced (some crazy races like “stop and eat a piece of bread and then skate in a circle and then race to the finish) and ice hockey. So it was fun and I got to laugh with the students and teachers. Then I went out to lunch with a few teachers and that took about 2 hours and I was getting really snoozy by the end cause I’m tired and they were speaking Japanese.

Now I’m back at school for a spell before leaving for the weekend. Wahoo!
